<image:title>Home - I have undergone thorough training and accreditation with Breathworks, a flourishing international organisation offering Mindfulness & Compassion teacher training since 2004. They’re committed to evidence and feedback of their approach. There’s a particular emphasis on working with the body & mind - in order to help those with pain & illness, stress, anxiety & depression - and helping people to live a more flourishing, alive life.</image:title>

<image:title>Team - MINDFULNESS TEACHER & CRANIOSACRAL THERAPIST</image:title>
<image:caption>Jess (Dayadarsini) Pailthorpe, RCST In 2004 Jess first walked through the doors of the Bristol Buddhist Centre and immediately knew that the path of mindfulness & meditation were for her. At the time, she was leading a busy life as a single parent with a demanding career and was looking for ways of working with her frazzled mind & heart. There was also a sense of looking for deeper meaning in life. Jess has continued her journey and commitment to this path which led to her being Ordained (hence the name Dayadarsini) into a Buddhist Community in 2021. As a Craniosacral therapist, Jess realised the huge potential that mindfulness offers those experiencing stress, anxiety, pain and long-term health conditions. The obvious choice was to train with Breathworks, who are well known for their Mindfulness based approach to pain management and stress. She teaches these courses, as well as groups and workshops, both online and in person and particularly enjoys the way mindfulness helps people live richer, fuller, more awake lives – with more freedom and joy. Alongside working as a Craniosacral therapist, Jess lives with her two daughters in a quiet corner of Hereford. <image:title>Mindfulness for Stress Course - “I feel the course strengthened and extended my ‘toolkit’ for recognising and making choices about how I deal with stress. It’s also really helped me to understand better the notion of being truly aware and curious and the value of kindness and compassion towards myself and others.”</image:title>

<image:title>8 week Mindfulness for Health - “My cancer consultant supported me when I decided to try Mindfulness as a means to alleviate chronic pain experienced following treatment. With regular practice over the months I have learnt to observe my pain and feelings with kindness rather than frustration and anxiety. Meditation with the breath helps to keep me grounded when I feel overwhelmed, by paying attention to the moment and letting thoughts drift by without overthinking.”</image:title>
